Your child only knows what they know. They think what they experience is normal and the same thing everyone else experiences. This is why getting an eye exam for your child is so important. Children with untreated vision and learning or health problems are at a significant disadvantage in school, sports, and future professional prospects. It is paramount that each child be examined by a pediatric specialized eye doctor (ideally pediatric residency trained with a focus on functional vision development) to avoid imbedding improper compensatory behaviors continuing throughout adulthood.
