Northglenn Optometric Center is an independent family owned eye care clinic established in 1964. Over that time we have remained the leader of Vision Care in our area through prioritizing patient care over everything else.  We are a cozy family practice providing that timeless quality experience you thought no longer existed.  You will never feel rushed, have as much time as you need with the doctor, and feel confident in the care received by our expertly trained staff.  We are all about quality and personalized care for both you and your family.

Dr. Kenneth W. Headington OD, MS

Dr. Kenneth Headington is a Veteran who received his bachelors in Optical Science and Engineering at the University of Arizona.  He later pursued his Masters and Doctorate degrees at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a national award winning published author for his work in applied physics and visual development.  He accomplished his Vision Therapy/Pediatric residency through the Southern College of Optometry specializing in Vision and LearningTraumatic Brain Injury, and Neuro-rehabilitation. He additionally specializes, with over 10+ years of extensive experience, in the treatment of Keratoconus, difficult to fit soft contact lenses, and custom RGP/Scleral contacts.  His goal is to personalize vision care for each patient while optimizing their visual system for health, clarity, and function. 

Dr. Ken runs Northglenn Optometric Center with his wife, Brynn Headington, and they have 3 children together. As a family they like to go hiking and have dance parties in the backyard.

Brynn Headington, Practice Manager

Brynn Headington is the Practice Manager and sole Optician at Northglenn Optometric Center.  She has 10+ years of experience and studied under previous Master Optician Ichi Otaka. She graduated Manga Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and studied at the British American Drama Academy in London, England.  Before coming to Colorado, Brynn worked as a professional actress in Washington, D.C., and was named in the article “Top 20 People That Make D.C. Great” in the Washington City Paper.  Locally you may have seen her on stage at the Denver Center for Performing Arts or the Colorado Shakespeare Festival.  Currently, one of her great joys is spending quality time with her husband Ken and 4 children!
